PROFILE

Loren Wolstein Stein has owned her own design and consulting company, Loren Stein Designs, since 1990.  She is an active multi-media artist creating art in mediums such as painting, paper-cuts, invitations, centerpieces, ritual art and more.  Additionally she has taught studio art to elementary age students through twelfth grade.  She presently teachers all grades and levels of high school studio art. Her background in architecture as been an asset in giving her the skills to create multi-media works with dimension and depth. Loren, her husband Eric, and four children Alex, Jonah, Lena, and Levi, reside in  Boca Raton, Florida since 2000.

Teaching studio art and design to all levels in high school.  Teaching Intro to Marketing and Design, and Intermediate Marketing and Design, 11 & 12 grades.


2013-PRESENT-Teacher, Introduction to Business, Marketing, and Design, Rohr Bais Chaya


2005-12   Teacher, Art Department Head, Weinbaum Yeshivah High School, Boca Raton, FL

Responsibilities include creating a writing curriculum for studio art elective grades nine through twelve.   Certified AP Studio art teacher with responsibilities including teaching drawing and painting, 2-d-, and 3-d design with qualified students.  Guiding them in selecting areas of interest which include architecture, fashion, theater, photography, and portraits. 


Coordinator of Special Projects and Programs, Weinbaum Yeshivah High School

Responsibilities include coordinating thematic programs with students for holiday celebrations, color-war, and other special holidays


SUMMERS-2009-PRESENT

Multi-media & Metal Work Teacher, Camp Ramah Darom

Taught studio metals to high school students, and assisted in curriculum and special projects.


2003-PRESENT

Studio art classes for children ages 6-10.  Multi media art course working in collage, stained glass, painting and more.

Metal work studio for students 14-17.  Metal arts course working in a variety of projects chosen by students. 


ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN CONSULTING

1990-Present


Works with both commercial and residential clients in the areas of design, renovation and expansion of commercial properties and private homes.  She works closely with clients in helping them develop and understand their design and acts as a liaison between the client, builder and architect to assure that all the clients’ special needs are all met.  Loren specifically focusses on the design phase of the projects where practicality and creativity is her strength.  Loren takes the clients through the entire construction process facilitating, decision making, and supervising potential modifications.
